Universo Pavia wastes no time and, just one week from the end of the women’s Serie C final championship lost at the tie break in Gratacasolo di Pisogne against Olginate, the newly promoted club from Pavia to B2 women’s has already formalized two new additions and four confirmations.

After the announcement of the arrival of Carlotta Galeone, a setter from Pavia born in 2001 who made her debut at the age of 16 in B2 with Colombo Impianti Certosa and then played in C in Segrate, Pro Patria Milano, Binasco and, again in the season just finished, in e B2 in Marudo, is Martina Breviario, born in 2000, the second novelty in Tecnilux. The Bergamo plant was born in Ponte San Pietro and grew up in the youth teams of Zanetti Bergamo, a militant club in the national A1 series championship, where he arrived at the age of 14. In Volley Bergamo you participate in the Under 16, Under 18 and C women’s championships until 2020/21. In the season that has just ended, Breviario wore the Brembo Volley Team jersey, the club with which she won fourth place in group C of the women’s B2. “What struck me a lot about the Universe project was undoubtedly the passion shown by the management and the attention paid to the athletes – says Martina Breviario – It is a very futuristic project, not only as regards the category of B2 series. I decided to seize this opportunity because it reflects my ideal of volleyball and my every need. My strengths are strong and gritty character, competitiveness and ambition. These have allowed me to achieve many results over the years on a personal level without ever missing even a bit of healthy lightness ».

Another shot in the viewfinder

It is very likely that in the button room of the Pavia company, the technician Mauro Fontana and the manager Davide Razzano are trying to complete with another athlete, perhaps even more experienced, a package of power plants that, in addition to the Breviary, can count on the confirmation of Aurora Bellinzona who is one of the four players of the vintage of the historic promotion to B2 who will certainly remain for the next one, as announced in recent days by the club from Pavia. The other three confirmations concern the free Marianna Filippi Pioppi, the young central Bianca Ianosel who grew up in the youth sector of Universo Pavia, and the opposite Letizia Moro, now in her third season wearing a verdeblu jersey.

In the next few days, other announcements are expected from the very active company from Pavia, which is therefore determined to be a protagonist also in the year of its first female B2 championship. –
