VfL Osnabrück celebrated its second win in a row in the 2nd Bundesliga against Fürth and is now gaining hope again in the relegation battle.
Erik Engelhardt (3rd) and Christian Conteh (21st) scored the goals for Lower Saxony in the 2-0 win at the Bremen Bridge.
With 24 points, the Osnabrück team remain at the bottom, but the gap to the relegation place is only six points. The Fürth team slipped to eighth place with 39 points and can probably say goodbye to the promotion race for good.

VfL Osnabrück has to play against Holstein Kiel on matchday 29 on Saturday (April 13, 2024, 1:30 p.m.). Fürth welcomed 1. FC Kaiserslautern the day before (6.30 p.m.).
