Six days after his twentieth birthday, French basketball player Victor Wembanyama (who measures 2.24 m) became the fifth youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double. Thanks to that historic performance, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Pistons 130-108.

Wembanyama scored 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in just 21 minutes. After an ankle injury last month, the Frenchman will have limited playing time.
Only four players have ever been younger for their first triple-double: Josh Giddey, LaMelo Ball, Markelle Fultz and Luka Doncic.
After Russell Westbrook, Wembanyama is the second player to record double figures in the three main statistics in less than 22 minutes. He is the youngest to do it without losing a single ball.
LeBron James was 20 years and 20 days old for his first triple double and didn’t realize it until his second NBA season.
