Without shining, Perugia beats Milan in three sets at the PalaBarton and reaches the semi-final championship against Monza. A match always in the hands of Sir Safety. At the start, Vital Heynen lined up Travica in the direction and Ter Horst (preferred to Muzaj and Atanasijevic, who were both at rest) opposite, Ricci and Solè in the center, Leon and Plotnytskyi spikers, with Colaci free. On the other hand, the Lombards played with Sbertoli in the direction, Patry opposite, Kozamernik and Piano in the center, Ishikawa and Urnaut spikers, with Pesaresi free.

There was no story in the first set, with Perugia having stretched from the start, taking advantage of the many errors and the devolution shown on the pitch by the Allianz to dominate and never question its supremacy. Just Ter Horst (8 points, with 3 aces and 80% in attack in the set) was the absolute protagonist, with a Leon below his usual standard (just one point with 17% in attack).
