The championship will end on Saturday 26 March and the goal of the club of president Barbara Landra will be to obtain a quiet salvation: the regulation also provides for the 2021/2022 season that the last four ranked teams will relegate directly to B2, if between the octave and ninth there are three or more points of difference, while there will be a playout if the gap is less.
As for the promotion to A2, only the first two teams classified will make the playoffs. Coach Andreotti analyzes the calendar: «A path that is certainly very important and demanding at the same time – says Andreotti -. We will face all new teams, except Bra and Caselle, already seen last year, but which we know have strengthened and it will not be easy to beat them. In addition, this year we will also have an away match in Sardinia, in Palau, scheduled for Saturday 29 January – continues Andreotti – in the third return match. We do not want to run on any particular team, we know that we will have to fight with all our strength against every formation, from Orago, to Trecate, Parella Torino, Novate, Acqui Terme, Settimo Milanese and Legnano volley, with the level of difficulty which has inevitably risen compared to last year.
