the forecast of tomorrow, Saturday 3 September, confirm that the weekend will be characterized by an energetic one flurry of thunderstorms, which will affect a large part of Italy. As previously mentioned, the instability phase with a September flavor is taking shape in these hours following the entry of one Atlantic disturbance, which returns for the first time to threaten our country after the long summer break.
The iLMeteo.it team announces that on Saturday “intense thunderstorms” will bathe the Center-South, extending “from Lazio to Campania and then to the central-southern Adriatic regions”, until reaching Calabria and Sicily. The bad weather it will manifest itself more clearly in the afternoon, with locally very intense phenomena, accompanied by lightning, powerful gusts of wind and possible hail. On the contrary, on the northern regions the irregularly cloudy sky it will not cause any nasty surprises, with the exception of some showers in the central-western Alps.

In weekend closing, the situation will remain quite unstable in the Central South. In this regard, 3BMeteo writes that Sunday 5th September new showers will affect “Sardinia, lower Lazio, southern peninsular and central-eastern Sicily”. Precipitation will be more frequent in the afternoon, in particular “on lower Campania and the Calabrian-Lucan sector”, while they will tend to run out during the evening. It will go much better on the rest of the boot, where the day will pass under the sun, apart from a few storms on the Alps.
