The eldest son of the legend Julio César Chávez has not had a good time in recent years due to addictions, which forced his family to admit him to a rehabilitation center for a long time, a situation that left him marked.
After concluding his rehabilitation in 2023, Chávez Jr. had attacked his father and those close to him, arguing that they had kidnapped him, even pointing out that the Mexican boxing legend had sent people to try to end his life.
