The Miami 2024 Caribbean Series was a resounding success, but the focus is now shifting to the next edition of the competition. The La Guaira Sharks were crowned champions in the United States, but attention is already turning to the 2025 event, which will be held in Mexico.
Dio Murillo, president of the Águilas de Mexicali, expressed his commitment to making the next tournament even better than the one in Miami. “We feel very committed, especially the people in Mexicali who are very united, to make what we are experiencing today in Miami much better there,” Murillo stated.
Similarly, Carlos Manrique, president of the Mexican ARCO League of the Pacific, promised to start working on the 2025 tournament immediately. “Mexicali is a great place, we are going to have a great party in Mexico. We have a pretty high bar, but starting next week we will work very hard with the organizing committee, the city, the team (Águilas) and with the League, to bring a great show to all the fans, which is the most important thing,” Manrique declared.
The dedication and early preparations from the Mexican organizers indicate that the 2025 Caribbean Series is set to be another unforgettable event for baseball fans.
