Soto also added another hit in the sixth inning, driving in another run to extend the Yankees’ lead.
The Blue Jays made a late comeback attempt, scoring three runs in the seventh inning and three more in the ninth, but the Yankees held on for the win. Soto finished the game with a 3-2 record, along with two RBIs and a run scored, breaking a small hitting slump he had been in.
