Vanzaghello (Milan), 11 June 2022 – He took the gun, one of the many in the house, and first killed with a blow to the temple Franco Deidda, the owner of the house, a 62-year-old Genoese, and then went to the balcony. She was a neighbor who raised the alarm after seeing Daniela Randazzo, 57 years old from Busto Arsizio (Varese), pours on the ground lifeless. He was a murder-suicide the one that took place this afternoon in via Arno in Vanzaghello (Milan). Investigators initially worked on one double hypothesisthat of the murder suicide and that of the double suicide, but in the end they came to the conclusion that it was the woman who fired twice, first against the man – with whom the exact relationship is yet to be clarified – and then against of himself.
It was around 3 pm when a woman residing in via Arno 2, the same number as the victims, phoned 112 to raise the alarm. “I heard some shots, run”then another person called, saying he found a body in the yard. According to his testimony, he was sweeping the condominium concrete floor, between the silence of a Saturday afternoon in his yellow building in the residential area of Vanzaghello, when he turned the corner and made the first macabre discovery. The 57 year old Daniela Randazzo, from Busto Arsizio (Varese), lifeless. The 118 rescuers rushed to the scene with an ambulance and the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Legnano (Milan). On the ground, just under a terrace of a court house, they found the woman’s body, lying in a pool of blood.
Next to the corpse, a revolver. In the house corresponding to the small terrace, the carabinieri discovered the lifeless body of Franco Deidda, a Genoese by origin and a shooting instructor. On his body the obvious and unmistakable sign of a gunshot to the temple. According to the first findings, the two did not live together, the neighbors reported that they had never seen the woman found dead in the square of the building. What happened is still being examined by the investigators, the coroner arrived on site for the first findings around 6 pm, while the Sis carabinieri had already been at work for a few hours.
Given the discovery of the possible murder weapon next to the woman, who was regularly detained by Deidda, it is conceivable that the woman, perhaps at the end of a discussion, hit the 62-year-old and then ran towards the terrace to shoot herself and then fell into the void with the weapon still in his hands. The man had long since moved to Vanzaghello after the end of his marriage, about a year ago. Also in Vanzaghello, on May 16, a young man was found, abandoned in a lay-by of the SS 336 highway. The victim had been brutally beaten and had cigarette burn marks on his body.
