Zeng Xianzi Sports Foundation rewards mainland gold medalists at the Tokyo Olympics

Chinanews.com, Beijing, December 1. The Zeng Xianzi Sports Foundation’s award ceremony for the gold medal athletes in the Tokyo Olympic Games was held in Beijing on the afternoon of December 1.
Zeng Zhiming, chairman of the Zeng Xianzi Sports Foundation, issued bonus cheques to representatives of the mainland gold medalists of the Tokyo Olympics. The Director of the General Administration of Sports Gou Zhongwen, Deputy Director Gao Zhidan and representatives of the Tokyo Olympic gold medalists attended the award ceremony.
Director Gou Zhongwen thanked Mr. Zeng Xianzi and the Zeng Xianzi Sports Foundation for their long-term care and support for sports and athletes in the Mainland, saying that the sports athletes in the Mainland will not forget their original aspirations, work hard, and contribute more to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
On behalf of the Zeng Xianzi Sports Foundation, Mr. Zeng Zhiming congratulated the motherland’s Olympic athletes for their outstanding achievements and good performance in the Tokyo Olympics, and said that they would continue to support the development of sports in the Mainland and encourage athletes to achieve better results.
The Zeng Xianzi Sports Foundation was established in 2008 by Mr. Zeng Xianzi, former member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and chairman of the Hong Kong Goldlion Group, to award gold medal athletes in the four Olympic Games held from 2008 to 2020.
