SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim to be Available for Trial Play in Traditional Chinese at Arcade Game Show
The highly anticipated horror love simulation game “SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim” is set to make its traditional Chinese version debut at the Arcade Game Show. Developed by the Japanese independent game team SAFE HAVN STUDIO and published by HYPER REAL, the game will be available for trial play for the first time in two versions: five-minute and ten-minute demos.
Adapted from a novel by Shizue Fidechi, “SAEKO” presents Japan in the 2000s in a pixel style. The game’s protagonist wakes up to find himself on a huge desk, only as big as the thumb of the giant girl “Saeko” in front of him. The game uses a visual novel click-and-click interaction to advance, revealing Saeko’s special ability to shrink people, including the player if they make her unhappy.
The five-minute demo features a “Reading Together” scene where the player can chat with Saeko while reading together. However, one wrong move can lead to a dark screen and a giant hand reaching out to the player. The ten-minute demo starts in a drawer and requires the player to figure out the situation and survive using the objects on the scene and unique characters, all while avoiding being eaten by Saeko.
“Saeko: Giantess Dating Sim” is expected to be released on Steam in 2024. For those who try out the game at the Arcade Game Show, they can get HYPER REAL flashcard stickers and Saeko reading companion stickers.
Fans of horror love simulations and pixel style games won’t want to miss the chance to try out “SAEKO” in traditional Chinese at the Arcade Game Show. Keep an eye out for this unique and thrilling game.
