For Android users, Google has introduced a clever search option called Circle to Search. It’s not available on iPhones – or is it? As it turns out, a pretty similar visual search can easily be used on Apple phones too.

At the beginning of the year, Google introduced the Circle to Search search function for Android phones. Users can use it Simply circle with your fingers in any appwhat they want to search for on Google.
Actually this was practical and time-saving function only for Android intended. But as it has now become known, a very similar search can also be carried out on the iPhone. All you have to do is change a setting on the iPhone for the Google app. The search is then started using iOS shortcuts and Google Lens.
To do this, you have to call up the operating aids in the settings once on the iPhone then “Back Tap” is activated become. Here you can choose between a double or triple tap to set the desired iOS shortcut (source: 9to5Google).
After adjusting the settings, double or triple tap the back of the iPhone to take a screenshot and send it to Google Lens. Texts can then easily be copied, translated or simply copied visual search queries like Circle to Search be started.
