In addition to announcing its upcoming Vision Pro mixed reality headset, Apple also unveiled a slew of new hardware at the recent Apple Worldwide Developers Conference. But it’s also time for some good news for MacOS users who lack compatible games. It does this from a legend:Hideo Kojima。
The CEO and founder of Kojima Productions appeared on a broadcast at Monday’s event, confirming that Death Stranding Director’s Cut will have Mac compatibility in 2023, and that future games released by the studio will also have it, which apparently includes Death Stranding 2.
“Death Stranding Director’s Cut on Mac takes full advantage of the latest Apple technology to provide our fans with the best possible experience.
“I was blown away by the power of the Apple Silicon and Metal 3, its modern rendering pipeline, and the amazing graphical fidelity that the MetalFX upgrade provides.”
Kojima seems to be quite happy with Apple’s new developments in hardware configurations. Pre-orders for Death Stranding Director’s Cut on Mac will begin “soon”.
