Dell XPS Expanding Processor Options Beyond Intel
In a recent report by Videocardz, it has been confirmed that Dell XPS will be gradually providing options beyond Intel processors in their upcoming lineup. The report cites a 300-page Dell XPS product planning roadmap, revealing detailed information about the processors that will be featured in the future.
While Intelās next layout, including Lunar Lake, Panther Lake, and Nova Lake, is already known, the report confirms the launch time of these platforms as well. According to the roadmap, Dell XPS will introduce the Arrow Lake-H platform in 2025, equipped with NVIDIAās new Blackwell GPU architecture product. However, there seems to be no indication of Dell XPS products using Arrow Lake-H series processors.
Following Arrow Lake-H, Dell XPS will welcome the Panther Lake-H platform in 2026, with a 14-inch product codenamed Huracan. The XPS 13, codenamed Divo, is expected to feature the Lunar Lake-MX processor. In 2027, the Next Lake platform code-named Nova Lake will be introduced, with Dell XPS also incorporating AMD Ryzen series processors in addition to Nova Lake-H for the XPS 16 code-named Performante.
Furthermore, Qualcommās Oryon and Oryon V2 processors will also be included in Dell XPSās product planning roadmap. The XPS 13, codenamed Tributo R, is set to debut this year with Qualcommās processors.
