The digital market in 2023 stood at 79,209 million euros for an overall growth of +2.8% and with the following segments having the best performance: ICT Services (+9%), Content and Digital Advertising (+5.9) and Software and ICT Solutions (+5.8%). A more sustained increase is hypothesized for the following years: +3.8% in 2024, +4.8% in 2025 and +5% in 2026, with a market that could exceed 90 billion euros in 2026. In the period 2024-2026 all sectors are expected to grow. Digital Enablers therefore continue to be an extraordinary driving force for the development of the Italian digital market, with artificial intelligence which will record an average annual growth rate between 2023 and 2026 of +28.2%.
These are the findings of the new study on the trend of digital in Italyhosted by Anitec-Assinform, the Confindustria Association which brings together the main ICT companies, in collaboration with NetConsulting cube.
