Greentech Solutions: AKG Group and Consolar bring a combination of solar system and heat pump onto the market

AKG and Consolar are proclaiming a solar plus heat pump revolution: The AKG Group, an expert in high-performance coolers and heat management, and Consolar Solare Energiesysteme GmbH, a specialist in highly efficient solar technology, are entering into a strategic partnership.

Together they are setting up production of Consolar’s patented SOLINK PVT heat pump collectors at the AKG headquarters in Hofgeismar.

The SOLINK PVT heat pump collector combines the technologies of photovoltaics and solar thermal energy, achieves up to 10% more electrical energy compared to conventional photovoltaic modules and also delivers two to three times the amount of thermal energy.

Designed exclusively for use with heat pumps, this combination silently offers a very energy-saving system for heat supply and opens up many new application possibilities in urban areas. The collectors on the roof or facade replace both geothermal energy and air-blower outdoor units and provide all the heat.
