A woman warned us. It gets tiring over time to always grind the beans with the hand mill. Well, we thought, maybe for them, but a few turns of the lever in the morning shouldn’t be a problem. We wouldn’t have to do the work because there’s actually an electric grinder in the kitchen. The conscious switch to the hand-held Comandante C 40 model also had to do with a woman, namely her own. Because the new portafilter machine took up more space on the work surface compared to the old one, we wanted to accommodate it and do without the electric grinder in order to take the analogue version out of the cupboard at mealtimes and store it there again at the end of the espresso.
