LEGO Unveils New Mona Lisa and Notre Dame Building Sets
LEGO has once again delighted fans with the release of two new building sets, paying tribute to the cultural heritage of Paris. The Art series features a stunning āMona Lisaā portrait, assembled with 1,503 building blocks and faithful color reproduction of the original painting by Da Vinci. The set includes a detachable gold paint frame and the option to hang the finished product on the wall.
In the Architecture series, LEGO has recreated the iconic Notre Dame de Paris cathedral with 4,383 bricks. The set showcases the architectural evolution of the cathedral, from its construction in 1163 to the 2019 fire incident. The set features a removable roof, revealing interior details such as rose windows and Gothic arches.
Both building sets are now available for pre-order on the LEGO official website. The Art series āMona Lisaā is priced at US$100 and set to be released on October 1st, while the Architecture series Notre Dame de Paris is priced at US$230 and will be released on June 1st.
Fans of LEGO and Parisian cultural heritage are encouraged to keep an eye out for these unique and detailed sets. Additionally, for those interested in design and collaborations, Marcel Breuerās classic chair āWassilyā is now available in a new color scheme, and NEIGHBORHOOD x Helinoxās latest joint camping series has been officially released.
