Apple’s new generation 15-inch Macbook Air is set to be released in Taiwan on July 27, targeting the wallets of “digital nomads”. However, Taiwan’s LG has also announced its new generation of 15.6-inch LG gram SuperSlim, with impressive features to compete in the market.
The new LG gram SuperSlim boasts a sleek design, measuring only 10.9mm thick and weighing in at a mere 990g, making it the slimmest model in the LG gram series. The laptop features an OLED panel with a screen ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a DCI-P3 100% ultra-wide color gamut, providing an immersive display experience. It also includes low blue light eye protection design and supports Dolby Atmos surround sound for enhanced audio quality. Additionally, it has received Evo certification, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
Under the hood, the 15Z90RT-G Neptune Blue model is equipped with the 13th-generation Intel Core i processor and LPDDR5 6000MHz memory, offering improved performance. It also features a new generation Smart Amp smart volume speaker system.
Moreover, LG has also updated its existing product lines. The company has introduced 14-inch, 16-inch, and 17-inch notebooks, including the 14Z90R-G, 16Z90R-G, and 17Z90R-G models. These laptops feature the latest 13th-generation Intel processors, dual Gen4 NVMe SSD, LPDDR5 6000MHz memory, and have passed the Intel Evo certification. Notably, all LG gram products have achieved MIL-STD-810H military certification, guaranteeing durability and reliability.
To cater to diverse user preferences, LG is launching the fully updated LG gram Style laptop, offering the 14Z90RS-G and 16Z90RS-G models. The company also provides 2-in-1 laptops that can be rotated 360 degrees and portable screens called LG gram+view. To support LG gram users, LG has created a Facebook group called “Adept Information Society.” The group encourages members to share their work-life balance experiences and provides a platform for users to ask questions and receive answers. Additionally, the group invites professionals and celebrities to share their expertise and hosts themed sharing sessions periodically.
The pricing for the 15.6-inch LG gram SuperSlim, 15Z90RT-G Neptune Blue, is set at 57,900 yuan. With its impressive features and competitive pricing, LG is hoping to attract the attention of consumers and steal some market share from Apple’s Macbook Air.
