At CES 2024, LG Electronics (LG) introduced LG SIGNATURE OLED T, the world‘s first wireless transparent OLED TV, a true technological marvel that combines a stunning transparent OLED screen and 4K wireless audio and video transmission technology, for create completely new ways to enjoy TV.
Thanks to its versatility, OLED T allows you to freely customize your home space, opening up a world of almost unlimited potential: thanks to its innovative scope, it won five Innovation Awards at CES 2024, including the Best of Innovation award.
In fact, LG SIGNATURE OLED T frees users from the limitation of seeing a black screen when the TV is not in operation. In fact, when turned off, the 77-inch transparent screen of OLED T is practically invisible and blends in perfectly with the room in which it is located, helping to make the environment seem more spacious.
Like the majestic LG SIGNATURE OLED M, the new OLED T has a Zero Connect Box, the hub that accommodates all the typical connections of a TV which can be positioned in another point of the room compared to the screen to maintain the environment perfectly tidy.
Thanks to this feature and the modular design, OLED T can be placed in the middle of the room to create a room divider or can be placed in front of a window without blocking the outside view. It can also be installed on its own stand-alone stand, placed against the wall or mounted on the wall.
Furthermore, the new OLED T offers a dual viewing experience based on the screen setting chosen: transparent and matte.
In the transparent version, OLED T becomes a transparent digital canvas to show works of art, videos and photos that scroll thanks to the Always-On-Display (AOD) function. The contents displayed on the screen appear to float in the air, but at the same time blend in with the surrounding environment to create an extremely evocative effect.
With just one click, you can increase the screen contrast to display a perfect OLED image. In this way it is possible to enjoy extraordinary image quality, guaranteed by OLED technology and the new α (Alpha) 11 processor with Artificial Intelligence, which offers a 70% improvement in graphics performance and a 30% higher processing speed compared to the previous processor.
Finally, OLED T offers another usage option thanks to the T-Bar function, which allows you to show useful information at the bottom of the screen including news, weather updates or the title of the songs being played while the rest of the screen maintains its elegant transparency.
