Luxury technology brand Caviar expands into electric bicycle market with launch of Herzog
Luxury technology brand Caviar has made a splash in the electric bicycle market with the recent announcement of its latest creation, Herzog. This luxury electric bicycle is customized based on the popular Porsche eBike Cross 3rd Gen, but with a glamorous twist ā Caviar has added 18K gold and gold carbon fiber parts to elevate the already stylish design to a whole new level.
Known for re-customizing general technology products and infusing them with luxury elements, Caviarās expertise shines through in Herzog. Previous products from the brand have included smartphones, smart watches, and game consoles. Interestingly, 39% of their customers are also Porsche owners, making the launch of Herzog a perfect fit for their loyal customer base.
The sporty Porsche eBike Cross 3rd Gen. is equipped with a Shimano motor for a comfortable riding experience. Each Herzog electric bicycle is meticulously handcrafted, taking up to 4 months to complete. The fine jewelry craftsmanship involved in adding seamless gold embellishment only adds to its luxurious appeal.
While the technical specifications for Herzog are still being finalized, Caviar plans to complete the design work by the end of summer and begin selling the electric bicycles in early 2025. Priced at $44,000 (approximately HK$343,889), customers who purchase Herzog will also receive a special gift ā the new iPhone 16 designed by Caviar, which has not yet been released.
