Ministry of Emergency Management Issues Emergency Notice to Prevent Landslide Disasters
Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, May 4th: The Ministry of Emergency Management has issued an emergency notice urging all regions and relevant departments to investigate and address hidden disaster risks in highways and other infrastructure in light of recent landslide disasters.
Following General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions regarding the landslide disaster in the Chayang section of the Meizhou-Dalian Expressway in Guangdong Province, the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction, and Relief Committee issued the notice to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.
