Apple TV+ has announced a new docuseries in four episodes, made by SMUGGLER Entertainment, offering an exclusive and never-before-seen look into the life and career of Lionel Messicurrently regarded as the greatest living footballer.

The series will tell the story of Messi’s journey through his five World Cup participations, obviously including his last triumphant experience in Qatar, when The flea raised the cup as captain of the Albiceleste.

The directors accompanied Messi in the Qatar 2022 World Cup adventure, filming unique moments before, during and after the epic feat of the Argentine national team.

From training sessions in Qatar to frantic press conferences to moments of reflection in his private room, the series shows a fascinating combination of the public and private worlds of one of the strongest athletes in the world.

More generally, the docuseries traces the exciting journey of his first match with Argentina (when he was sent off after a minute), up to the final consecration last December.
