The launch of Microsoft’s new convenience post application for Windows has been traced back to the Vista era, also known as the era of Windows systems used for quickly noting applications. Now, Microsoft’s new convenience post application’s development phase finally comes to a close with OneNote.
In order to cater to users’ diverse note-taking needs, Microsoft has integrated a note-taking application into the OneNote application, allowing you to take notes while using the note-taking feature (there are multiple note-taking features).
In addition to meeting the overall design of Winodws, the new note-taking application also introduces a convenient feature that enables more detailed writing of content and screen capture from webpages or applications. You can capture files or screenshots from the website and link them to your note. Later, when you need to refer back to them, you can simply click to return to the original source.
Furthermore, the convenience post application has the same features and benefits, but it is more up-to-date. You can use a Microsoft account to create multiple convenience posts, customize the color, and set internal file formats to facilitate cross-platform use (note-taking applications on iOS and Android are more convenient in operation).
Microsoft has not mentioned anything about the new convenience post regarding Copilot or any other type of AI-driven feature, suggesting that the Copilot is not fully integrated, which is certainly peculiar.
Microsoft Microsoft 365 Insider’s high version of OneNote for Windows is version 2402. Please note, like other new features, this release is a pushout, meaning not all users will receive this feature at the same time, so you need to be patient.
