From temporary exhibition to de facto museum, the Leonardo3 Museum in Milan celebrated its 10th anniversary by announcing new collaborations and lots of news. They are aimed at enriching the Milanese and national cultural schedule.

Leonardo3 Museum in Milan, the projects and news announced

On that occasion it was announced a fascinating project with the ā€œGiuseppe Verdiā€ Conservatory of Music from Milan. Here the sound imagined by Leonardo reveals itself ready to enter a series of new musical productions conceived especially for the occasion by the students of composition and new technologies of the Milan Conservatory.

The novelties also concern the exhibition space for which a new lighting project signed by the cinematographer David is missing. The goal now is to make the visitor travel in Leonardo’s mind, using light as a narrative voice.

Also there room dedicated to the Last Supper has been completely renovated to allow an immersive experience not only digital but also physical. From today, visitors can discover the details and colors now lost in the original thanks to the new digital restoration of the painting carried out by the Leonardo3 study centre.

The importance of culture

The Leonardo3 study center took the opportunity of the tenth anniversary to reaffirm the fundamental role of culture in growth and for this reason it promotes activities that bring the new generations closer to the artistic and cultural heritage. For this reason we made use of the collaboration of the author and director Marco Cassini who wrote and directed the new spot of the Leonardo3 Museum. A video with a strong emotional impact that narrates the discovery of the museum through the dreamy eyes of a little girl.

To close the festivities, one special walkway: after the conference, the Leonardo da Vinci’s Mechanical Lion took its first steps, crowning the work of Leonardo3 researchers with the collaboration of the Department of Mechanics of Politecnico di Milano. A tribute to the city of Milan, where Leonardo spent most of his life.
