Artificial intelligence is everywhere now. However, one sector that is focusing on this in a particularly important way is that of smartphones. Now, OPPO and OnePlus have announced the arrival of Gemini Model AI functions for your devices.
In a Press release that we received in April 2024 we read that the innovation will allow over 10 million users to access this type of functionality. The goal of OnePlus and OPPO is to be among the top brands integrate new Google solutions in this field, announced at the recent Google Cloud Next ’24.
“Thanks to collaboration with Google to integrate both Gemini and Google AI Cloud in smartphones, and with other industry leaders to offer a variety of AI experiences, we are excited to broaden our offering in the mobile AI sector“, explains Nicole Zhang, General Manager of AI Product for Oppo and OnePlus.
We have already covered the announcement of OnePlus’ AI Eraser function on these pages, but it is not just the latter. In fact, the artificial intelligence features arriving on the global market will also concern the integration of AI Cloud productsincluding the ability to summarize articles, organize audio content in real time, and generate creative content for social media.
On a general level, in the next 3-5 years OPPO and OnePlus expect to develop over 100 new AI features, to be offered to users all over the world. In short, the ambitions are not insignificant.
