Rumors of Xbox and Nintendo Live Streaming Events Swirl
There has been much speculation surrounding Microsoft’s plans for a potential Xbox Developer Direct live streaming event, with rumors suggesting it could happen as early as next week. Now, however, it seems that Nintendo may also have something in store for fans this month.
According to Zippo, a well-known Nintendo insider, the Japanese company is planning a Nintendo Direct live stream. In a recent statement, Zippo said, “Yes, I’ve heard from the usual sources that Nintendo plans to air it directly this month. It will probably air from next week until the end of the month.”
The announcement is expected to bring new details on games for the Nintendo Switch, including Paper Mario and Peach Showtime, as well as a few surprises. Given that Nintendo has been relatively quiet since September, fans are eager to learn more about what the company has in store.
While many are curious about the potential for a new console from Nintendo this year, Zippo’s comments suggest that it will not be announced in January. Nonetheless, there are sure to be plenty of exciting games and developments to look forward to from both Microsoft and Nintendo in the coming weeks.
