Sony Rumored to Release New 24-50mm F2.8 G Lens in Mid-February
According to foreign sources, Sony is rumored to be releasing a number of new products in the first half of this year, including the highly anticipated 24-50mm F2.8 G lens. The most likely date for the release of this new lens is speculated to be on February 14th.
Rumors have been circulating about Sony’s plans to launch new products, such as the FE 16-25mm F2.8 G, ZV-E10 II, FE 85mm F1.4 GM II, A7S IV, A6700R, and FX50. Some of these products have had spy photos leaked, while others are still in the rumor stage.
However, foreign news sources have received reliable information indicating that the 24-50mm F2.8 G lens will indeed be released in mid-February. In addition, there may also be a new firmware release for the A1 and A7S III cameras around the same time.
While the ZV-E10 is expected to be released in the spring, there is no evidence to suggest that it will be launched in mid-February. Likewise, the release date of the FE 85mm F1.4 GM II is still uncertain, with previous reports suggesting an early summer launch.
As for other rumored products such as the A7S IV, A6700R, and FX50, they are currently just treated as rumors with no concrete release dates.
These rumors have generated a lot of anticipation and excitement among Sony fans, who are eagerly awaiting the release of these new products. Keep an eye out for further updates as the rumored release date approaches.
