Intel Reveals Information on Battlemage GPU Architecture
After much anticipation, Intel has finally provided some details about its upcoming Battlemage GPU architecture. Following the releases of Alchemist and Lunar Lake, the Battlemage GPU architecture is set to make its debut in the near future.
In a recent update file for the Battlemage GPU architecture found in the LLVM update file, it was revealed that the series of independent graphics cards will have a product code named BMG-G21. However, the exact positioning of these cards has yet to be determined. While initial information suggested that BMG would have G21 and G10 GPUs, only BMG-G21 has surfaced at this stage, leaving many to wonder if Intel is still evaluating its internal options.
Intel had previously released the Alchemist GPU architecture independent graphics card back in June 2022, with ongoing driver updates to address various issues. Despite these improvements, the market response has not been as strong as that for AMD Radeon display cards.
As for the Battlemage GPU architecture, it is expected to be officially unveiled in the fourth quarter of 2024. While details remain scarce at this time, fans of Intel’s graphics cards can look forward to the release of the Battlemage series in the coming years.
