With a reel on Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg announced that Meta AI, the new version of Meta’s Artificial Intelligence, is now available. Unfortunately, however, to be able to use this assistant from Italy we will have to wait a little longer since it is not yet available in our country.

“Big news today from Big Al. We are releasing the new version of Meta Al, our assistant that you can ask any question through our apps and glasses. Our goal is to build the world‘s leading AI. We are powering Meta Al with our new cutting-edge model, Llama 3 AI, which we are making open source. With this new model, we believe Meta Al is now the smartest AI assistant that you can freely use.
We’re making Meta Al easier to use by integrating it into the search boxes at the top of WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger. We have also created a website, meta.ai, for your use on the web. We’ve also developed some unique creation features, such as the ability to animate photos. Meta Al now generates high-quality images so fast that it creates and updates them in real time as you write. It will also generate a playback video of your creation process.”
Meta AI has been updated with Meta Llama 3 technology
Recently enhanced with Meta Llama 3 technology, this AI is expanding its global reach and improving user experience across various platforms. Introduced at last year’s Connect event, Meta AI is now accessible in more countries, offering smarter, faster and more interactive services.
Meta’s AI launch includes English-speaking countries outside the United States, such as Australia, Canada, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Complete integration between apps
Users can interact with Meta’s AI across Meta’s suite of apps, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger, without leaving the current application. This seamless integration allows for a more seamless user experience, making it easier to do things like planning dinners, studying, or creating custom content like album artwork and animated GIFs.
Improved image generation capabilities for Meta AI

While currently available in select countries and platforms, Meta plans to extend Meta AI capabilities to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and the Meta Quest, with additional updates expected in the coming weeks.
