ASML Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Innovative AI Technology in Corporate Image Video

ASML, a global leader in semiconductor lithography technology, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with the release of a groundbreaking corporate image video. The video, titled “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants,” was created using the most advanced generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI) technology, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovation and technological development.

The use of AI technology in the production of the film highlights ASML’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of technology and leveraging cutting-edge tools to achieve new creative heights. By harnessing the power of Generative AI and the computing power of ASML’s lithography system, the production team was able to create a visually stunning and captivating video that demonstrates the fusion of AI technology with human creativity.

ASML’s corporate identity video pays homage to the human spirit of innovation and the potential of semiconductor technology to drive positive change in the world. The company, along with its industry partners, is dedicated to advancing lithography technology, promoting chip evolution, and developing new products that have the potential to transform society.

The production of the corporate image video was a complex and meticulous process, with the production team using over 1,963 natural language prompt words to generate 7,852 images. After editing and rendering the prototype images on more than 900 computers, the team processed them using Generative AI to create the final film, which consists of 25,957 frames packed into a 1000MB file.

One of the most challenging scenes in the video depicts Newton studying his apple among rotating planets. The team made over twenty attempts and generated more than 9,800 frames before achieving the final captivating image. This dedication to perfection and innovation is a testament to ASML’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology and driving progress in the semiconductor industry.
