This yacht takes a little bit of the desert to the sea

Oceanco’s latest yacht concept draws inspiration from the stunning beauty of Brazil’s Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Known for its white sand dunes that flow into the Atlantic Ocean, the desert landscape has captured the attention of the Dutch yacht designer, who incorporated elements of the natural wonder into their newest creation.

The Simply Custom series by Oceanco, designed by Timothy Baldacci and Veronica Vergari, features a yacht that mimics the flowing lines and contours of the dunes in the Brazilian desert. With a white hull and sand-colored superstructure, the yacht exudes elegance and sophistication while paying homage to its muse.

The design of the yacht focuses on relaxation and comfort, with spacious terraces that can be transformed into a beach area with an above ground pool and sun loungers. The aft deck features outdoor dining areas and lounges, while the foredeck boasts a helipad and a jacuzzi.

Accommodating up to 12 guests in six staterooms and an owner’s suite, the layout of the yacht can be customized to suit the owner’s preferences. In terms of performance, the yacht features highly efficient hulls by Lateral Naval Architects and hybrid diesel-electric propulsion systems that can run on biofuels with low carbon emissions.

The Dunes yacht is part of the Simply Custom series, which includes a total of 17 boats, with only 6 concepts revealed so far. Each yacht in the series offers a unique design inspired by different sources, showcasing Oceanco’s commitment to innovation and luxury in the world of yachting.
