Apple Arcade Launches Three New Games and Over 20 Content Updates in 2024
Apple Arcade, the subscription-based game service from Apple, has kicked off the new year with the launch of three new games and more than 20 content updates. Priced at 220 Yuan per month, the service offers ad-free and tuition-free gaming, allowing players to enjoy a variety of games without additional charges.
One of the new games, āTamagotchi Adventure Kingdom,ā is developed by Bandai Namco and follows the cute hero Mametchi on a quest to restore harmony to the Tamagotchi planet. Players can explore the game world, meet nearly 300 adorable Tamagotchi characters, and build their own wilderness camp. Regular content updates for the game are also expected.
Another new addition to Apple Arcade is āCornsweeper,ā a cute and relaxing puzzle game inspired by the classic āStepping on Mines.ā Developed by independent Jamaican developer wbuttr, the game integrates Jamaican culture and provides content in the local dialect Patois.
The third game, āBlackjack by MobilityWare+,ā developed by MobilityWare, offers a classic blackjack experience with the option to choose tables in different locations around the world. The game also features a table-run progression system that allows players to unlock new tables as they progress.
In addition to the new games, Sanrioās āHello Kitty Island Adventureā will be holding a lucky lantern celebration on 1/19 to welcome the Year of the Dragon. Players can collect dragon beads symbolizing good luck and receive special rewards during the celebration.
Apple Arcade continues to offer a wide range of games, including popular titles like āNBA 2K24ā and āTaiko Master,ā providing entertainment options for players of all interests.
