Ubisoft’s New Game “XDefiant” to Hold Public Beta from April 20-22

Ubisoft’s latest competitive shooting game, “XDefiant,” is set to hold its public beta from 1:00 a.m. on April 20 to 1:00 on April 22, Taiwan time. The game will be available for download in advance and is applicable to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.

The game, known as “Bad Front,” brings together elements from four major Ubisoft signature works: “The Division,” “Far Cry 6,” “The Spy,” and “Phantom Wire,” attracting millions of players to participate in the closed beta test last year. Players are divided into four camps with different skills and passive abilities, working to unlock more characters by completing tasks.

Despite delays in development similar to “Legend of Fury,” the “Bad Front” team is conducting a server stress test in preparation for the game’s impending launch. Foreign media reports suggest that if the public test goes well, the team anticipates the game could be available as soon as summer 2024.

Ubisoft also announced that players who participate in the test will receive weapon appearance and experience bonus rewards upon the game’s official release. This includes The public beta MP5 clover skin, the M9 fire red skin obtained by teaming up with friends, and 3 weapon experience bonuses up to level 18 during the test period.

PC players can download the game in advance by searching for the Server Test Session, while PS5 and Xbox Series players can find it in their respective stores. With anticipation building for the release of “XDefiant,” fans can look forward to experiencing the game’s competitive shooting gameplay during the public beta period.
