“Night Crow” Global Advance Reservation Starts Today
The highly anticipated cross-platform MMORPG “Night Crow” is set to launch its global advance reservations today (11th). Developed jointly by South Korea’s Wemade and MADNGINE using Unreal Engine 5, the game will also reveal its captivating world view and introduce the four major professions available to players.
The game will be showcased at the 2024 Taipei International Game Show from January 25th to 28th, where attendees will have the opportunity to preview and experience the game firsthand.
The world view of “Night Crow” is set in Europe during the 13th century, an era characterized by magic, alchemy, and the coexistence of various highly intelligent races with humans. The invention of gliders has also expanded the territory of humans into the sky. However, conflicts between religious beliefs, territorial expansion, and the rise of pagans have plunged the world into chaos. The emergence of the Night Crow Legion, a powerful guild, seems to offer a glimmer of hope in this tumultuous land.
The game features four initial professions: warrior, swordsman, hunter, and wizard, with the ability to change and transfer professions as players progress. Each profession offers unique strengths and abilities, providing players with a variety of playstyles to explore.
The warrior is characterized by strong health and strength, excelling in heavy fighting styles with the use of huge weapons such as two-handed swords and spears. The swordsman, on the other hand, has a balanced offensive and defensive capability, specializing in the use of swords and shields. The hunter utilizes bows and arrows for long-range combat, with the ability to choose between bows and arrows or daggers for training. Lastly, the wizard uses elemental magic for long-range attacks and support on the battlefield, offering a versatile and powerful playstyle.
