vivo to Release Update for X100 Pro to Support High-Speed 5.5G Networks
vivo, a leading mobile phone manufacturer, has recently announced that it will be pushing an update for its MediaTek Dimensity 9300 flagship phone X100 Pro to support 5.5G networks. The update is set to be released in April, with the promise of significantly boosting the download speed to an impressive 3,619.19Mbps.
The news was shared by Han Boxiao, product manager of vivo Communication Technology Co., Ltd., through his Weibo account. He uploaded a network speed test using the X100 Pro, showcasing its capability to achieve such high download speeds through the 5.5G network. This speed is more than 3.5 times higher than the current 5G peak download performance, offering users an unparalleled high-speed download experience.
In the photos released of the 5.5G network speed test of the X100 Pro, it is evident that the device switches from 5G to 5GA network logo when connected to the 5.5G network. This allows users to easily identify the network they are connected to, ensuring a seamless and efficient browsing experience.
While the 5.5G network support is a key feature of the Dimensity 9300 chipset, the Hong Kong version of the X100 Pro may also have the opportunity to be upgraded to 5.5G. Further information regarding this upgrade will be announced by vivo Hong Kong in due course.
With this upcoming update, vivo continues to push the boundaries of mobile technology, offering users cutting-edge features and high-speed connectivity. Stay tuned for the release of the update in April to experience the enhanced download speeds on the X100 Pro.
