Mobile tariffs with unlimited 5G data volume are often cost-intensive – especially if the whole family needs to be equipped. But now providers are tempting Vodafone with an attractive savings offer that benefits three people with one Unlimited-Tarif provided. But is this offer really worth it?

Vodafone: Unlimited tariffs for three people

For a short time only, Vodafone is offering its Gigamobil tariffs in a cost-effective three-pack with a data bonus via the so-called Family Card. In concrete terms, this means: Anyone who books the main tariff “GigaMobil M” together with two Family Card M options will receive all three tariffs with unlimited data volume for a total price of 79.97 euros per month.* Normally “GigaMobil M” only includes 50 gigabytes , while the additional “FamilyCard M” cards only offer 20 gigabytes of data volume each. The regular price for three tariffs with an unlimited data flat rate would be 133.97 euros per month (“GigaMobil XL” with two “FamilyCard L”), so you actually save a lot of money here.

Each tariff effectively costs a monthly amount of 26.67 euros. This is a top price for a flat rate on Vodafone’s fast 5G network. All three tariffs also include a telephone and SMS flat rate, at no additional cost. Vodafone also does not charge a connection fee.

For those who take out partner tariffs for their immediate family members, it should be less of a problem that all three contracts are billed via the main contract holder’s account. However, if friends or colleagues sign a contract together, it may be less pleasant to regularly demand money back from them. In addition, terminating one of the contracts will result in the loss of the data bonus, and the remaining tariffs will also return to the regular conditions. Despite these risks, it is an attractive offer. The two FamilyCards are additional cell phone contracts with their own phone number, which can also be taken over from the previous provider.
