Ubisoft’s Highly Anticipated XDefiant Game Delayed Again Due to Beta Testing
Ubisoft’s upcoming free-to-play FPS XDefiant has been hit with yet another delay, much to the disappointment of fans eagerly awaiting its release. Originally scheduled for October 2023, the game was pushed back to March 2024. Now, Ubisoft has announced that the release date will be further postponed until the completion of a brief beta testing period.
In a statement released on XDefiant, the publisher/developer explained that they need to test some improvements before the game is ready for launch. To ensure a smooth gameplay experience for players, the team has planned 12-hour server test sessions for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series owners.
Following the beta testing phase, Ubisoft San Francisco will announce a more concrete release date for XDefiant. Despite the delay, the developers are confident that this additional time will result in a better overall gaming experience for fans.
