POCO’s “Full Speed” event officially introduced the POCO X6 series and the POCO M6 Pro, ushering in the 2024 for the Xiaomi group with prominent innovations in the Android smartphone panorama.
In a significant turning point, the company abandons MIUI in favor of the new HyperOS, marking a new beginning for 2024. POCO raises the bar without excessively burdening prices, maintaining an alignment with the 2023 models and introducing memory cuts wider.
POCO X6 Pro:
The top model, the POCO X6 Pro, presents itself as a revolutionary in the mid-range. Equipped with MediaTek’s powerful Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC, with advanced cooling and fast memories (8/12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256/512 GB of UFS 4.0 space), it offers high-level performance. The 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1800 nit peak brightness confirms its gaming nature.
Aesthetically appealing with a yellow vegan leather back, the POCO X6 Pro houses a 64 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP triple camera, with optical stabilization. The 5000 mAh battery charges quickly at 67W, while the device boasts IP54 certification, stereo audio, and top-notch connectivity.
HyperOS software based on Android 14 promises an unprecedented user experience.

While the POCO X6 arrives with MIUI 14 based on Android 13, POCO promises quick updates for HyperOS and Android 14.

The POCO M6 Pro is positioned in the medium-low range with generous storage (256/512 GB) e il SoC MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra. With a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, triple camera, 5000 mAh battery, and 67W fast charging, the device offers a complete multimedia experience.
The POCO M6 Pro also comes with MIUI 14 for POCO based on Android 13, with promises of future updates for HyperOS and Android.
