Xiaomi Announces Launch of New Bluetooth Speakers for Overseas Markets
Xiaomi has unveiled two new Bluetooth speakers, the Sound Outdoor and Sound Pocket, which are set to be launched in overseas markets. Though the exact launch dates and pricing details have not yet been revealed, the features of these speakers have already garnered attention.
The larger of the two, the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor, comes in three color options: black, blue, and red. It is designed to be compact, portable, and durable, making it easy to carry in most backpacks. With an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, physical buttons for easy control, rubber feet on the bottom, and a portable shoulder strap, the Sound Outdoor is equipped for outdoor adventures.
Despite its small size, the Sound Outdoor boasts a power of 30W, thanks to its built-in woofer, two passive radiators, and tweeter. The speaker’s 2600mAh battery can provide up to 12 hours of playback at 50% volume. Additionally, the speaker utilizes Bluetooth 5.4 technology for seamless connectivity and can be paired with another speaker for stereo sound or linked with up to 100 speakers to create a large sound system.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Sound Pocket is a pocket-sized Bluetooth speaker that is also IP67 dustproof and waterproof, only available in black. With an output power of 5W, it can play music continuously for up to 10 hours at 40% volume.
