[ロサンゼルス １日 ロイター] – Approximately 300 students at Columbia University and City University of New York in New York City were arrested in the middle of the night on the 30th, protesting against Israel’s continued attacks on Gaza, the Palestinian area. Mayor Adams of New York City made the announcement on the 1st.
At Columbia University, more than 100 pro-Palestinian students were arrested last week after pitching tents and continuing to demonstrate on campus. Conflict then intensified as the university began suspending students who did not respond to removing tents, and on the 30th, students occupied some buildings on campus.See more

According to UCLA’s student newspaper, pro-Israel forces attempted to tear down a camp set up by pro-Palestinian groups on campus.
The Los Angeles Police Department posted on X that they had been requested by the university to respond to multiple acts of violence on campus.
Live footage shot from the air by ABC affiliate KABC shows people using sticks to beat barricades protecting pro-Palestinian demonstrators.
