“Fifty Shades of Grey” star Dakota Johnson (34) had herself photographed beautifully and sensually for a US magazine and also spoke openly about her great love for Chris Martin (47). She probably gallantly left one big detail under the table: the actress and the Coldplay cuddly singer are said to have gotten engaged!
“The couple got engaged a while ago and kept the news to themselves,” an insider told British „Mirror” out of. “They were in love from day one, so this next step was inevitable.”

It is no longer a secret that Dakota and Chris have been a couple since 2017. And also not that the daughter of Melanie Griffith (66) and Don Johnson (74) and Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex (were married from 2003 to 2016 and have two children together) are head over heels in love with each other, now together in Malibu life.
“I love watching him. I could watch him every day,” enthuses Dakota in an interview with Bustle magazine about her musician Chris. “I don’t know how to explain it. (…) I watch my favorite person doing his favorite activity.”

However, the actress keeps to herself the fact that she and her favorite person apparently want to get married soon. This is new for many people now. But her closest circle knows, says the insider.
The source close to the couple even knows: “They are in no hurry to plan the wedding and are simply enjoying their promise to each other.”
The fact that things fit between the two is also more than clear in Dakota’s “Bustle” interview. She loves her blended family, she says, and feels completely in her element as a stepmom: “I love these children as if my life depended on them. From the bottom of my heart.”
