Cajamarca.- The admission process is being completed normally today, Sunday, April 14, where a total of 6,524 applicants seek to secure their entry into one of the 28 professional careers offered by the National University of Cajamarca (UNC).
The 2024-I admission process is carried out normally, where applicants enter to take the exam in person in the university city of Cajamarca and in the branches.
As reported by the Academic Vice Chancellor of the UNC, Dr. Jorge Tejada Campos, the distribution of applicants by location is as follows:
– Cajamarca: 5,862 applicants
– Jaén: 445 applicants
– Celendín: 77 applicants
– Chota: 100 applicants
– Bambamarca: 40 postulants
The exam on Sunday, April 14, will last three hours, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Starting at 6:00 am, six doors will open at the headquarters, through which applicants will enter according to the career they are applying for.
Distribution of Doors by Professional Career:
– Coliseum Gate: Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering and Systems Engineering.
– Main Door: Human Medicine.
– Main Vehicular Gate: Tourism and Hospitality, Sociology, Law and Hydraulic Engineering.
– Secondary Vehicle Door: Administration, Accounting, Economics, Geological Engineering and Veterinary Medicine.
– Puerta Los Patos: Biology and Biotechnology, Nursing and Obstetrics.
– Puerta Colegio Urrelo: Agronomy, CC.NN Education. Chemistry and Biology, English – Spanish Education, Language and Literature Education, Mathematics and Physics Education, Primary Education, Food Industry Engineering, Forestry Engineering and Zootechnical Engineering.
Applicants must appear to take their exam only with their DNI (If your identity document is in process, you can present the DNI even if it has expired) and identification card printed on A4 sheet in color, which was downloaded from the website of University. UNC will provide a pencil, eraser and sharpener to each applicant. Once inside the classroom, leaving the premises will not be allowed.
Regarding security, it has been established that it is prohibited to carry cell phones, calculators, tablets, radios, recorders, headphones, transmitters, receivers, microphones, cameras or other electronic devices that may compromise the transparency of the exam. Additionally, applicants with long hair must wear it up.
The National University of Cajamarca is committed to guaranteeing a fair and efficient admission process, implementing all the necessary security and transparency measures.
