A Boeing 737 Max runs off the runway in Houston: the plane rests on its tail

This is the third Boeing crash this week. The 166 people on board were unharmed

(LaPresse) A United Airlines Boeing 737 Max skidded off the runway after landing at George Bush International Airport in Houston, Texas, ending up on the grass. The accident caused no injuries among those on board, 160 passengers and six crew members. The flight had departed from Memphis. Passengers got off the plane using the steps and reached the terminal on shuttles.
Images on social media showed the Boeing’s left main landing gear got stuck in the soft ground alongside the runway and left the nose gear in the air. At the time of landing, heavy rain was falling at the airport and visibility was reduced.

On Thursday 7 March, another United Airlines flight operated by a Boeing 777 had an issue: the aircraft lost a tire during take-off.
