a new trailer with the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

Expected for six years, the continuation of the adventures of the irreverent superhero will exploit the concept of the multiverse. And will mark the return of Hugh Jackman in the role of Wolverine.

Seven years after staging the death of Wolverine in Logan, Hugh Jackman resurrects his favorite character in the third part of the adventures of Deadpool. A new trailer showing him with his classic yellow costume has just been revealed three months before its release on July 24.

Awaited for six years, the continuation of the adventures of the irreverent superhero played by Ryan Reynolds will exploit, just like the recent adventures of Spider-Man, Doctor Strange or Flash, the concept of the multiverse. “I don’t know how to save a world. You know how to do it,” Deadpool says to Wolverine in the trailer.

We still don’t know the precise story of Deadpool & Wolverine. The blockbuster is directed by Shawn Levy, with whom Ryan Reynolds has already filmed Free Guy. Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) are part of the cast. Screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool 1 and 2) wrote the script.

The return of Jennifer Garner?

Deadpool 2, in 2018, introduced the characters of Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz). This new part should put former superhero performers back in the spotlight. Jennifer Garner, who played Elektra in the 2000s Daredevil films, is set to play the ninja super-slayer again.

The presence of Elektra should be accompanied by appearances of other flagship Marvel characters owned by the Fox studio, which produces the Deadpool license. Among them: the X-Men. The two Deadpool spin-offs of X-Men are the most popular films in this license, with a combined revenue of 1.5 billion dollars.
