A tragic incident has struck the popular tourist city of Pattaya, Thailand, following the death of a British man who attempted an extreme jump from the 29th floor of a skyscraper. The man, identified as Nathy Odinson, 33, was trying to create content for his social media profile when his parachute failed to open, resulting in a fatal fall.
According to reports, Odinson illegally accessed the terrace of an apartment building from where he planned to perform the dangerous stunt, with a companion tasked with recording the event. Images of the incident, which show Odinson preparing for the jump, quickly spread across social media.
Eyewitnesses at the scene described the harrowing experience, with a security guard recalling the moment he heard a loud noise and discovered Odinson’s body on the ground. Despite the rapid response from emergency services, it was too late to save the man’s life.
Authorities found a partially deployed round blue parachute next to Odinson’s body, suggesting a failure in the equipment. Security footage revealed how Odinson and his companion illegally accessed the rooftop before the fatal jump.
