In the last round of the league part of the ABA League, Crvena zvezda players defeated Split (92:73) and now all the playoff participants are known. Not only that – we also know the pairs of the quarterfinals, since the last unknown was who will play in red and white. Now it is clear that it will be the Student Center team, so we can turn to the knockout phase of the regional competition.
As things stand now, the quarterfinals in the ABA League begin on April 12, when the first matches should be on the program. In the next few days, the first matches in all four series will be played, the dates for the second matches are between April 19 and 22, and any third matches will be scheduled at the end of the month. Of course, there is a possibility that the calendar will be adjusted, especially if no team from the region will play in the finals of European competitions. At the moment, only Partizan has a chance for that, which, in addition to the victory over Valencia, also needs the triumph of Zvezda over Efes.
