While the eyes of the world are on Kiev, another Taliban turnaround comes from kabul: all women will have to go back to wearing the burqa in public. This was announced by the Ministry of Vice and Virtue. The regime’s move brought to mind the restrictions on women’s rights previously enacted by the Taliban between 1996 and 2001.
