On Thursday night (May 2nd) the Los Angeles Fire Department received an emergency call at 12:42 a.m. A woman sustained an injury at the famous Chateau Marmont hotel and called in paramedics, NBC News reported. Rumor has it that Britney Spears was on the other end of the line.
Several media outlets then reported that Spears had experienced an altercation with her alleged boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz. Some spread the news that the singer had suffered a nervous breakdown under the influence of alcohol. But Spears has now cleared up the rumors on Instagram.

The singer posted a statement peppered with emojis on Instagram on Thursday (May 2). She makes it clear in the first line: “Just so you know: the news is wrong!” At the end of the text, the 42-year-old explains: “I sprained my ankle last night and the paramedics were on me illegally Door appeared.
